The biggest news for Surgical Notes from 2021 is that we're growing and just keep getting better!
It was another record year for us for client growth and retention. Our reputation as the ASC industry experts for revenue cycle solutions is unparalleled, and the number of users of our highly regarded document management software system, ScanChart ASC, continues to increase. We love our clients and make sure they know how much we value them and their loyalty. In turn, they appreciate the service, quality, and dedication to excellence our experienced teammates provide to them each day.

In addition to strong organic client growth, we made two strategic acquisitions in 2021. The first extends the technical and software capabilities for our billing team, allowing us to deliver enhanced reporting, tighter workflow management, and overall better control for our customers. The second acquisition expands and strengthens our services. We brought in impressive talent with extensive ASC expertise and leaders who share our company's values and vision. The acquisition also significantly expanded our base of billing clients and fits perfectly with our existing reputation of delivering high-touch, client-first services and attention to detail that makes our clients more efficient and profitable.

We are now approaching 800 teammates and dedicated contract staff that service nearly 1,000 clients. In addition, 2021 saw us add senior leadership across multiple disciplines, expanded our management team to accommodate our growing client base, and implemented some of the best security and information technology practices in the industry.

With the support from our financial and banking partners, Surgical Notes is well-positioned to further grow and scale our business in 2022, including more growth through strategic acquisitions.
